Beaches in Rovinj: camping Polari

Polari Bay and Cape Eva (Punta Eva - naturism) are 3km away from the town center, located within the Camping Polari, and they stretch as far as 2 km to the south of Villas Rubin Resort.

What dominates is the typical Mediterranean vegetation: conifers and old cultivated olive-groves among which there are camping plots.

For the most part the coast in this area is stony and some beaches are paved with cobble stones in order to make the access to the sea easier.

On the northern side of Polari Bay, along the border with Villas Rubin, a pebble beach is located which is very suitable for children. Next to the beach, a playground has been set up with swings, seesaws and a slide, and there is also a cultivated meadow where children can play ball or frisbee, etc. Although not located in Polari, but in Villas Rubin, you will find a restaurant close by, as well as the Wind Surf Center and a complex of sports grounds (for further information on available services, see Villas Rubin).

When going down to the southern part of Polari Bay, you will come to a little quay and a little port which is available for use for guests of the Camping. In this part the coast is stony and it's not easy to go into the water or to find a place for a sunbath. Trailers are parked close to the shore and crafts are anchored there, so that they can be quite disturbing for a pleasant swim in the sea. This part has two showers.

After Polari Bay there is Cape Eve (Punta Eva), a nudist beach which streches as far as to the end of the Camping. Punta Eva is not a strict nudist beach, since it isn't isolated from the other parts of the Camping so that it might happen that people in bathing costumes pass by or swim there. We suggest that these people look for another place for swimming in order to preserve the nudist intimacy.
